The Gameplay Mode switches between a Fully 3D Model with Audio of the real world and a fully 3D Model with a 3D Audio Model. You will be able to play with up to two audio sources at the same time and track their decibel levels very easily.
We released a previous version of the Audio Comparer some time ago, but it lacked a lot of features compared to our current file. Now it has a lot of cool new features, which you can read in the release notes in the readme file.
This audio comparison tool with real-time visualization is great for any kind of audio process, also for professionals. You can compare two files, mix multiple audio files, or play them simultaneously.
Flat Audio EQ allows you to alter both the magnitude and phase of the audio you are listening to. 'Phaser' alters the phase, 'Phaser Delay' alters the delay between each 'bite' of audio. 'TubeStyle' alters the ADSR envelope, the speed at which the high and low levels of the audio meet, as well as the amount of ripple the envelope exhibits. 'Clipping Comp.' sets the threshold to determine when the envelope reaches its peak and begins to fade. 'Clipping Fuzz' adds a nice dark, fuzzy, distortion feel to the audio by clipping the envelope in the same way that an amplifier does.
With the Ape x64 audio comparer, the way the audio is divided into channels can be controlled. The width of each channel can be adjusted. The output of the audio comparer can be modified to change its output to a file (for example, if you wish to play it through a mixer), or it can be played to the connected speakers or headphones. If you want to isolate one of the channels of the output, you can open the Alt Mixing Widget and use it as a volume control to attenuate the level of that channel.
